Using Trade Report

These terms apply to the Trade Report app on iOS and Android. Trade Report helps you record a job, keep photos and notes, take an optional customer signature, and generate a PDF report. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you record and for reviewing a report before you send it to a customer.

Your content

Jobs, photos, notes, and signatures you create remain yours. They are stored on your device. Trade Report does not claim ownership of them and does not upload them. You are responsible for the customer information you choose to keep, including having a lawful reason to record it.

Free and Pro

The free tier includes PDF reports for 3 jobs. Generating another report for a job that already has one does not use a new slot. Pro unlocks unlimited reports, your logo and accent colour on reports, and customer signatures. The price is the amount shown in the app at the time you confirm the purchase, charged by Apple or Google.

Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase

Monthly and annual Pro plans renew automatically and are billed to the Apple ID or Google account you use to buy them. A plan continues until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings, at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The store may charge the renewal within 24 hours before that period ends.

A lifetime purchase is charged once and does not renew. Deleting the app, or clearing job data inside it, does not cancel a subscription or refund a purchase. If you reinstall, use Restore purchases on the upgrade screen. Apple and Google handle refunds under their own rules.

Bug reports

If you send a bug report from Settings, the text you write, the app version, and the device platform are delivered by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co) to hello@jppferreira.com. Job photos and customer details are not attached. Sending a report is optional.

The app is provided as is

Trade Report is provided as is. Reports are only as complete as the information you enter. You should read each report before you share it. To the extent the law allows, Trade Report is not liable for loss caused by a report you send, by data stored only on your device, or by uninstalling the app.
